Pic on the complete motor swap minus turbo (56k BeWaRe)

These are a few pics that I took during the swap it was fun to pull the old motor and finally get the new d16z6 in. All the wiring is out of a 95 del sol. The only wires that remain are the ones going to the gauges all the other have been replaced and removed. Sorry for the duplicate pics from a past post. It took about 5 hours to pull all the old wires and install the new ones but well worth the time. The car will go to the ref in about a week. I have to put about 1000 miles on it to break in the motor.

looks good, you should relocate the battery though, it would look even better.

I think the battery is next weekends project. I have had a seal optuim battery for a while sitting cause it wont fit in the current location. I love this motor it is so much more responsive than the a6. Thanks guy on the responses I think it was worth the time and money to do it right the first time.

Yes only took 5 hrs I did have help from one of my buddys that has done this swap about 8 times so he had all the wire colors and where they go pre-written. he authored this link here for doing this exact swap.http://www.thezcresource.com/index.p...conversion.php
