Gear Oil Weight?

Hi,

What's the correct gear oil weight to put in the manual transaxle on a '97 SC2 when doing a fluid change?

Thanks,

Mike

Re: Gear Oil Weight?

I have always used dextrol II automatic transmission fluid in the manual transmission.

Re: Gear Oil Weight?

Why does a manual tranny take ATF? That strikes me as being odd. What's the difference between ATF and 75/80w90?

Re: Re: Gear Oil Weight?

75/80w90 is like sorgrum compared to the thin automatic trans. fluid.
