Angry ARGGGHHHH, im gone mad!!!

Oh, im so sad and mad I was just spraying my FTO with can spray. I held the model on a platic box, small enough to get the model onto it. Of course the model fell THREE times while spraying And if that wasnt enough, it fell one more time in the box, when already sprayed and now its all messed up And it looked so nice

Please give me some encouraging words What should i do after the model dries? What should i use for holding the model? Would a can do better, i have revell air can, would that one do?

When the model falls off the stand, pick it up, put it in some csc and start all over again.

Re: ARGGGHHHH, im gone mad!!!

A can could do the job well... but you should use tape to fix your model body to the box or the can you use to hold it! Or something like Patafix...
I'm sure after a precise sanding you'll be able to paint it again and it will look clean!...
Go on! I'm waiting your model to be posted on the Complete and In-progress thread soon!

I have a handy tool that holds the body while painting, it comes from Micro Mark I believe.

I used to use a metal coat hanger, bent to shape and taped inside the body, and I had no trouble holding it while painting. It's just more convenient to use the tool w/the soft pads and spring pressure to hold the body vs. using messy tape to hold the body to a coathanger. A bent coathanger is not just a painting stand, you can pick it up and rotate the model while you are painting it.

Re: ARGGGHHHH, im gone mad!!!

If you want to start back to the beginning, use some CSC and strip the paint. Then when painting, I personally use an old spray can, and cover the lid with tape. I then put it inside the model car body, so that it would hold it, and stick. Use as much tape as necessary. From there, you have the can to hold, and with the grip of the tape, you can turn the model anyway you want.
