new 04 1500 QC/OR gate & plug questions

Hi - Im new to the group but not to Dodge. I just traded my 99 QC 5/2L 1500 sport for an 04 QC with off-road pkg (yeah, its got a hemi
I ran the gamut on this - ford f150, f250, chevy 2500 and ofcourse the 1500. We know who won. Love the truck! Not thrilled about the nose-down profile, but that'll get corrected soon. the K&N went on at 35 miles. 975 miles on it, I changed the oil, and was able to muster the herculean strength to free the oil filter. So far the only problem is a ticking noise from a speaker, no matter what volume, in the radio.

Some questions:

- any reports on premium spark plugs helping mpg ? I saw some old posts but no updates.

- my gate has only the Dodge and SLT badges on it (no 4x4), did Dodge stop that in 04 or did they give me a 2wd gate?
