Re: wing on a show only 4g4d

i wouldn't put an aluminum wing on a show car, that's for sure. Have you tried looking to see if they even make one for the 4g4d?

Whats the real purpose for a "wing" or the correct term spoiler? Downforce. But anyways as long as its not over 6 inches high i guess it can look good to some people.

Actually, there is a difference between "wing" and "spoiler".

A wing is to provide downforce, but a spoiler's purpose is to "spoil" or tumble the air behind the car so that the airflow doesn't create a vacuum behind it (which allows the car to go faster with less effort because it's not fighting a vacuum).

Re: wing on a show only 4g4d

I went with a Skyline styled wing from Erebuni. If You go to their site www.erebuni.net i think, and check out the universal wings.....they have a lot to choose from. But whatever you decide, make sure you like, it's your car man, do what you want.
