Fujimi 345 RS-Watanabes OOP? and some tips on two-tone

I'd like a set to put on an R31 kit I'm rebuilding (the green one in the drift machines thread), so it would look like the one below. Only nobody seems to have them in stock (HLJ or Hobbysearch) . ideas?

And anyone got some tips on two tone, ie masking techniques, which color first, how long to leave colors before masking off etc? I'll be using automotive paint (Holts Duplicolor ford pearl black, some sort of silver) in sprays.

BTW this is the look I'm going for, pearl black over silver, fat watanabes, ground scraping rideheight.

HLJ has the 345 Watanabe as Backordered no one waiting. The wheels aren't OOP as I just got some of these wheels from them about a week and a half ago.

Here's a couple tips for painting 2-tone schemes.

You always want to do the lighter color first, because it's much easier to cover a lighter color with a darker one than the other way around.

For masking, you want to make sure the edge that will separate the two colors is really stuck on there, so rub it down as much as you can before painting. Another way to avoid color bleed-trough is to shoot a coat of clear after you've masked the body. This will help seal the tape edge and keep the second color from seeping through.

Also, if you can, try to shoot one color with acrylic paint, and the other with enamel. This way you can wipe off any screw-ups with either wayer or thinner, depending on which paint needs to be removed.

Good luck, and show us some pics!

The 345s would be a bit wide, don't you think? Those in the pics look more like 225s at the most. I have the 345 Watanabes and they're humungous. I've yet to build a car around them. They're one of my favorite styles of wheels.
