a few questions for those that have owned their srt-4's longer

hi alll, i just got my 04 srt-4 last week, and i'm just drolling over all the things that i can do to this thing, but since i'm used to putting on dual four barell carb's and blowers to the engines of the 70's and before, and i'm just now trying to figure out this turbo thing, and i'm looking for some input on the mods that i'm currently looking at....

first off, everything i read and hear, says that adding a blow off valve to the turbo does wonders for the car, are these proving helpfull, or did dodge address it in design?

also, i'm pretty sure that i want a cold air induction system, but again is this something that dodge might have covered in the design making it unessicary?

another thing i eventually want is going to be the stage three turbo system, but that's going to require some savings, and probably wait for all the cosmetic mods i've been looking into...

i also welcome any sugestions on after market cams, lifters, and pretty much any other engine mods....thanks for the time.

The blow off valve I believe is not a performance mod untill you get around 400hp I think stock is fine. And the Mopar BOV and other plates are only for the sounds not to increase performance.

A cold air intake is a great addition. Mopar did design the intake so well that most aftermarket intakes see little gains. But the faster you go the more improvement you will see. Alot of mods may do very little to the performance of the vehicle since Mopar designed it so well. But the more each mod is added the other mods increase.

For cams or any of those other item Gar at Howell automotives is great to talk to. knows car very well.
