2000 Pontiac Sunfire
Hello everybody,
I am sam, I'm new in this forum. I know i can get good information from you guys. I read all of your thread and I like all your responses with regards to your experienced in the field of automotive. Let me start with my pontiac sunfire 2000. I have this car for almost 5 years now. It developed a problem which I think is in the fuel system. When driven on highways for almost an hour the engine stop, but for a few minutes cool off, it will start again. This never happend in city driving. My dealer said theirs nothing wrong with the car. Perhaps one of you have similar problem like my sunfire. I will appreciate if you can give good diagnostic from experienced. Thank you. Sam |

Re: 2000 Pontiac Sunfire
I have a 2000 Sunfire too. It will stop after about a hour or so. I mean completly shut down. I can still turn it over & can hear the fuel pump. No one seem to know what the problem is. When it finally does go, sometimes 10min to 1hour later it works great. Please help.
