sound cuts out on pioneer deck

I have a pioneer 4500MP and when i first start the car it works fine. Then a little while later the sound completely stops; all speakers have no sound: no static or anything. I have to leave the car off for a while to get the sound back. What is causing this?

I have 2-way 4-ohm speakers in front and 8-ohm woofers in back.

Any help is appreicated!

not very loud at all. It happens within a minute of starting the car after sitting overnight.

when the sound cuts out, does the headunit stay on and keep playing or does it turn off?

Re: sound cuts out on pioneer deck

I solved the problem. One of my speakers had a loose connection in the door. It may have been shorting. Check all your speaker wires to make sure everything is wired right. Also check fused both in the cabin and under the hood.
