Exclamation heater issue

I have a problem with the driver side only. When the heater is on it blows out cold air on the driver side but hot air everywhere else.

Can anyone give me a clue as to where I can go to correct this problem??

Thanx

take off the panels and see if the air vent pipes are all attached.

My husband (a mechanic) has taken the vents apart and it looks as though everything is hooked up correctly. He is baffled why cold air is only coming out of one vent.

Re: heater issue

I did one on an 89 Deville. Time consuming but wasn't tht bad, but I did have the shop manual to follow step by step.

Its the heater core, I had the exact same problem. The bottom half of the core builds up sediment. This is the part of the core that feeds the driver side. Dont waste your time flushing it, replace it.

Thank you very much. I will look into the cost and go from there. What did it cost you, if you don't mind me asking?
