sputering before starting??? help

Hi I have a crx b16a, the car starts but when it has been siting for a few hours the car has trouble starting, dont get me wrong it starts on the first try but it sputers and its like blub blub blub blub vroomm, and it starts, if I turn it off and try again the problem is gone starts perfect. the problem apears when the car is cold.please help.

Its a fuel problem.. I believe there is a check valve in the fuel pump that keeps the fuel from flowing back in the tank, and one on the return line that keeps fuel in the rail.. If the check valve goes bad then it takes a second for the fuel system to build up pressure..

how can i remedy this? and whats the fuel presure for a b16 because i have mine like at 23 and wot 30. is this a problem?

You have to preform a fuel pressure leak down test. Hook the fuel gauge up and start the car..after you get it running let it sit for a while or overnight and see what the pressure is...if its real low then you will probably need to change the fuel pump out. Im not a honda mechanic but this is a basic feature on most fuel injected cars...
