Unhappy Fuel pump woes

I have a 1990 plymouth voyager (Brothers girl friend) don't know anything about it. I was told fuel pump needed to be replaced. I did not trouble shoot myself, replaced fuel pump to no avail. It acts as if it isnt electrically connected. no sound no fuel in the line. How can I trouble shoot before I take the pump out again.

Have you checked for a blown fuse or maybe a defective fuel relay (on the drivers side fender apron)? What about the ground wire from the tank? Bob Best.
