R32

i work at a VW dealer in roseville, ca. we have an R32 with only 100miles and its already lifted a head gasket. today we got in a black magic R32 and the floor pans are already rusted, and also some jackass from the factory stratched the intake manifold and tried to hide it with touch-up paint....hmmm kinda makes me wonder...

Re: R32

found out the reason the gasket lifted......when they machined the head, there was a part in the corner next to an oil galley, someone F'd up the machining and theres some circle gouges on the corner that are about .020" deep, so the gasket didn't actually lift, there was just nothing there...and thats from the factory....wow...

Re: R32

The golf r32 seems like it is built up with some left over parts in the factory. The new golf is already out in Europe, and now they are still giving us the old ones? No one VW keeps on losing money.
