Grand Cherokee Limited
I cannot figure out how to manipulate the aerial on my GC. Is it automatically lifted when starting the radio or is there a switch to manipulate its ups and downs etc... Pls note my radio signals are weak and the aerial is in its minimum position.

On mine it stays up - The servo makes a noise when power is applied to the radio, so I'm assuming it's automatic on all models.

Re: Grand Cherokee Limited
on my 94 gc limited , it goes up and down , sometimes the plastic teeth in the strip that actuates the aerial get stripped and travel is limited or non existant,

There is a lead out of the stereo that has 12v when the unit is on (and ign on) and no voltage when off. This lead goes to a controller that extends the ant when power is applied and retracts it when there is no power. So, If your ant doesn't make any noise, check the power out of the head unit (I believe it is pin 1 on the black connector). If that is working, then it is the controller. Most aftermarket ant come with a new controller anyway.
