Question Dead Pedal installation

I have a 89 civic hatch CX (in canada, similar to the STD in the states expect with a d15b2 and 5spd transmision). It didn't come with a dead pedal (you know the 4th pedal where you would rest your foot while its not on the clutch), I was wondering if I was to take one off a higher model (an Si for example) from the junkyard, would there be the holes under the carpet to install it?? if not is there a way to, or should I just not bother.......

thanks
