Can somebody help me fix this?
I have trouble getting the "look" to match when the pic of the people is taken several feet away in normal mode and the model car and shop is taken only a few inches away in macro. This one used a flash pic of the people because it was all I had of them but the ones shot outdoors have the same problems, though not as bad. I'm using PictureIt'99 to do the initial cut, size and paste because it is less cumbersome and then take the image to PaintShop Pro5 to do the finetuning. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Can somebody help me fix this?
unfortunately though i understand your problem the only thing i can think of to fix it is the shady parts, like how the overhanging roof puts a shadow on the building maybe there should be shawbows just like that on the people, just go into your paint program and "burn" the area you want darkened. thant should work.
sorry i couldn't help more. |

Re: Can somebody help me fix this?
That's a big help. I hadn't thought of that to add shadows. I had been doing some in the PictureIt mode that just follows the two dimentional shape of the cutout but that would give me much more leeway on shape control. Thanks.

Re: Can somebody help me fix this?
Is the garages in the bg a differant picture? because the car seems a little big, compared to the people, and garages. just my opinion

.
No, the only thing added was the shot of the people. I built the shop to use for shooting models and it scales out to a real 48 foot long shop with 7 foot tall walls and rollup doors a little over 8feet wide. Here's an unretouched shot of it with my model of Petty's '64 Plymouth. Just chalk it up to a misspent youth watching too many movies with Ray Harryhausen's wonderful stop motion creatures. LOL
