check engine light after installing CAI

Check engine light came on after I installed a CAI. Has anyone ever had this problem? It's not idleing bad or anything.

did you plug all the sensors back in after you installed it? are they connected tight?....recheck everything again maybe

this has happened to me before but it was wen i installed a ram intake... i went driving around with it for a couple of days..then one day i got tired of seeing the check light so i was going to bring it to the dealer.. but then half way there it just turned off and never came on since..until i put in a CAI... then it came back on again... guess what.. a few days later it disappeared... i think its just the computer adjusting to more air coming in.. it was on my 2003 civic by the way

this is a common occurance. clear the code, you should be fine
