Contest Announcement For Builders in Hawaii

There is a Quickbuild contest being held at Mechahawaii on 12th Avenue. The entry "window" opens on Monday February the 23rd, and goes until March the 12th. The rules are quoted below.

Rules: The rules are pretty simple and straightforward: get a kit and bring it to the shop(or buy one there) to verify that it is unstarted. You then have 10 days to build your kit. For example, bring in or buy your kit on Monday, it must be brought in within 10 days to qualify for the contest. Kitbashing is perfectly ok, as are detail parts, putty, bondo, motor tools, hammers, air tools, blowtorches, whatever. Be as custom, or box stock as you want. Full livery race or rally car, box stock honda civic, Car with 5000 nitrous tanks, car with legs and 19 heads, everything goes. As long as you can do it within a week, go nuts. Kitbash parts to be used must be brought in at start in time for inspection as well and should be "virgin" parts (ie not: painted, pre-cut, pre-sectioned, pre-puttied etc.)

I am suprised. I thought that my friend would have place with one of his entries (orange R32 4dr, and black 350GT). Oh well. Maybe the next one.

I'm not surprised by the results... The orange 350 gt looked far better than the others!
