98 Taurus with chimes that go on & on & on...
Just got a 98 Taurus and when it starts I get about 5 chimes that repeat three times then stop. About 20 minutes later it repeats. Is this an SRS failure?

Have you checked for any codes and is the airbag light flashing?

Taurus chime
I don't have a way to check for codes. But there is NO light at all on for the SRS. Could that be the problem and if it is how tricky is it to change dash lights on a Taurus?
