Is Microset safe to use on glear window parts, it does not frost it or anything does it?

Re: Microset question

Isn't Microset basically just vinegar (well, mostly)? If so, it shouldn't hurt anything, including cured paint.

Re: Microset question

No, its not vinegar (acetic acid). It is an alcohol.

Re: Microset question

Really? I had no idea. The smell always reminded me of vinegar, so I asked the guy that runs my local hobby store and he told me it was vinegar based. Live and learn I guess.
