'94 T&C rear liftgate troubles
The rear lift gate on the the '94 T&C hasn't been working for a while. I've checked the fuse associated with it and it's good, I can actually here a clicking in the dash when i push the button on either the keyless entry or the button under the dash. No noises in the back where the lift is however. Today though somehow in my fumbling around looking at the mechanism when the gate was up I managed to do something that made it work one time. I was amazed to see that when i shut it and pushed the button it worked, however it was just the one time and I have no been able to get it to do it again. Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

It's been a while since you posted this problem, so maybe you solved it already. I head the same problem. First, check all the connectors. On your instrument-panel which has the liftgate lock. See if all cables are attached to the connector. Then check the coil on the liftgate.
Try resetting the system. For this you'll find a red push-button above the fusebox. Try it, maybe it gives. |
