Grill

I have an 88' lx 4dr. One thing i notice about this car is that it has a space between the front of the hood and the top of the bumber. This it where it has sort of a grill. I noticed that the crx's and hatchbacks do not have a grill. It is all enclosed? I like the way that looks better. Is there anyway to fix the front in of the 4dr. so that it looks like the hb or crx??? What makes this difference?? Is it a different sized hood or a different bumper??

its a different hood and bumper..they're not directly interchangeable.. I would say bust out the welder and the bondo and shave the grill
