If you mean swapping the 9b for the 13g then its not only possible, its done quite often.

Re: Turbo Conversion?

no sorry, i mean ive heard you can upgrade the front compressor with a larger housing and larger compressor wheel but keep the stock exhaust housing so it becomes a hybrid turbo.
i was wondering how easy that would be to do yourself.

Boy, I don't know about that one. For that you'll probably want to stop in 3si.org and do a search if anyone has done that.

Ive heard of it being done, but it would probably be less of a headache to just but regualr 13g's and put them on. You ahve to bore out the 9b turbine housing, so you will need a shop to do that, and it wont be cheep.

Re: Turbo Conversion?

do all the stock intercooler pipes fit still or do they have to be replaced?
