Question Cooling system hoses ?

Can some body run outside and check to see on their truck, where do the two small hoses coming out of the water pump go ?
One is for the heater core and the other goes into the intake, but which tube on the water pump is which?
Just finished swapping engines on my 1997 Sierra and can't remember where they went ...oops !!
Thanks in advance

The one on the drivers side of the pump goes to the heater core, the one towards the passenger side goes to the intake. I have a 98 5.7L.

Re: Cooling system hoses ?

Thanks Scooter, I had a bit of a brain burp there, and in true gambling fashion had it backwards the first time.
I dumped a well worn out 5.0 and put in a '99 5.7 from a smashed Suburban.
Man it really is much better.
