OK im in class right now and my math teacher is french. One thing is u cant under stand a fucking thing she is saying and everytime she talks it pisses me off She can burn in french hell. On a lighter note the coolest person in the world is sitting next to me (Sarah) not josh

I thought the same thing. But I agree, that's why I want to learn French. And my spanish teacher from 7th and 8th grade was british. I could understand her just fine, but I learned spanish with a british accent. It was weird.

haha I no what you mean, its not as bad for me tho, im in a town right across from quebec, so its common to hear ppl speak french, and I actually understand what they are sayin, cause im french canadian aswell, but theres a british guy in my school, and im not making an attack on british ppl, but wow... talk about hard to understand, when he's happy, holy crap, "his englis gess Bloodday Royt Propa" he speaks with a very heavy accent, try talkin to him when your drunk

Its all about where u live, for most people they may be used to hearing british accents, but if you come from a different part of the world, your not used to hearing people speak with accents from a different part of the world, so it makes it difficult to desipher

Go to the Caribbean, most of them speak English, but you couldn't tell from listening to them.

I took French for 6 years, and i'm part French....nothin wrong with that...I had a couple of French Teachers who grew up/lived in France for a while so they had a little bit of an accent...nothin wrong with it if you have patience with the teacher, because she's probably trying to speak english as best as she can, remember that English is one of the hardest learned languages there is, and the fact that in French there is no H sound, because of of the H's in French are silent....this is why when they try to say "the" it sounds like "zee" and whatnot. the word "The" is a whole other word entirely meaning Tea, and it's pronounced "Tay"
