86 Electra park avenue where the fuel pump relays?
Okay heres my problem. It was like high 20 degrees outside and it stoped snowing and i decide to take my car to get it washed took it in and got the works including the underbody to get all the salt off. it was running fine. But afterwards my car was back firing and running horrible i got it home and let it run for a little bit thinking maybe something got wet. Turn it off and tried to start it a few hours later it started but still backfired and ran bad.the next morning i went out to start to go to work and it wouldn't start.I don't know exactly want it does but you turn the car it just keeps trying to start till it runs the battery down. So i tried to jump it and start it and nothing. Im still getting spark but i don't know what else to do.sorry so long but any help would be great.

Re: 86 Electra park avenue dead after carwash
i had pretty much the same problem...look under the hood for relays see if u can find the fuel pump relay that might have gotten wet and if it did fried something...if so replace and the problem should be fixed...if not that have a look at the fuel pump its self...water might have gotten into it and damaged it...good luck
