93 G series van timing 350ci

I am trying to check the timing on a 1993 chevy with a 350 automatic. The tag has been removed from under the hood. Upon reading some of the other posts I asume the timeing should be set at zero with computer wire disconnected??? Can someone conferm this for me? Also where is the tan (w/black tracer) wire located at on this van and where is the disconnect point for timing purposes. I have been trying to find the timing pointer on the timing cover and cant find that either.

tbi motor? if so, look either in the cab under the dash on a breakout on the passenger side or look near the power distribution center under hood, wait thats for trucks....a van might be different. but once you do find it, 0* is where you set it
