Dilemma b16a or rebuild on b18a...
I have a B18...and it needs a rebuild, my question is that Eventually want to go turbo on the motor and I can't decide if I want to rebuild the b18a or get a b16a... already have the B18a motor and tranny.....the B16 is gonna run me $1600 CDN.
Things to consider. b18a needs distributor b18a needs to be rebuilt b18a needs alternator b18a needs starter b16a comes with almost everything What do you guys think?

rebuild the b18 if you can get it all done for close to the price of the b16......than you know that your engine is in good shape and ready for boost

b18 man, I been reading alot on b18a's and b18b's with stock internals and modified fuel systems running low 12's, Ive been searching around for a decent b18a/b for my motor swap.

Go with the B18. For what you pay for the B16 you can have a fully built B18.
