What are your Experiences on Hallucinogenic Drugs

Any funny, wierd, scarry, unforgetable experiences with these drugs, Do's and do nots of the different drugs.

E is not hallucinogenic. Neither is marijuana. The only common halucinogenics are mushies and acid.

A mate of mine came running up to me when he was on trips and started to claw at my face. I asked him what he was doing and he told me 'holding your face on. It's melting off!'

When personally wasted on it, I can stare at the same thing for ages and constantly see new faces and colours emerging.

Hehe, shrooms are good. But nothing fantastic happened. Just a good time.

shrooms and acid are very similar. i think acid's a little more mellow. one time on shroomz i had the worst panic attack ever, i think i ate too many. something felt like it was wrong but everything was really ok. i don't know how to explain it.

i acutally ate some acid on Superbowl Sunday at my friends house, i don't know why it was there but i ate it at like 8:00 at night and tripped til like 2:00am, couldn't get to sleep until about 4:00 and then went to a 9:00am class that same morning. needless to say it was a rough day.
the worst part about drugs like that is that even after you're done trippin' your brain is just racing, so when you try to sleep it's damn near impossible.

I don’t have any experience using anything of the sort. However, a friend of mine had some acid slipped into his drink while at a party at one of the state parks back in college. The party is called K-Day and there are usually two thousand people their or so (considering that MTU has only 6500 students, that a big turnout). Needless to say there is a lot of drinking going on and as you go through the park, people you know and some you don't offer drinks.

He doesn't remember who gave the drink to him, but that’s not important to the story right now.

First a little background on the guy. He was 24 when he came to Tech for his doctorate in Metallurgy. He was a graduate of West Point and quite the avid weight lifter. Needless to say, he was the kind of guy people wouldn’t want to mess with. He’s great guy and a funny drunk. Not that day though.

Several of us were down along the shoreline getting a fire going when we saw Steve coming back. Nobody gave him a second glance until he was just about back with us. It was late afternoon so it was easy to see the look on his face and it was one that I've never seen before. He was smiling, drooling and laughing all at the same time. He was carrying a piece of driftwood about four feet long (I'm sure we figured it was for the fire). He walked up to his roommate and swung for the fences. He caught him by the shoulder and sent him flying as well as shattering the wood. That was the first lucky break that he didn't hit him in the head and kill him.

So after a few seconds of "What the fucks!" and "Holy shits!" we noticed that he was staring at his roommate and starting to mutter something about the devil. He started walking towards him and his roommate got up cradling his arm and started to back away. One of the guys with us said something along the lines of "I don't think Steve’s all there right now" so we grabbed his roommate and started heading down the beach at a brisk jog.

None of us could outrun this guy if we tried, but he just kept a steady pace for us. His mantra of "Devil" kept repeating and got louder and louder as he kept moving. He also never stopped smiling and drooling. At one point, we decided that heading towards the first aid area would be the smart thing both for the roommate and to get the police to subdue Steve.

We must have wandered out of the park because after we turned to head up the beach, we came across a barbed wire fence. So we found a tree that we could climb and hop over it. No big deal for us (Steve’s roommate – and yeah, I can’t remember his name) was able to get over without to much pain. When Steve got there he was nearly yelling “Devil” and walked into the fence. He kept walking even though he couldn’t get through. The barbs had pierced his legs and stomach but he didn't pause a second.

He eventually climbed the barbwire, cutting his arms, hands and legs even more. He then started picking up the pace. Now we were scared and not sure what to do. So one of the guys came up with a plan. Maybe not the brightest, but at least it sounded reasonable. It was clear that Steve was fixated on his roommate so one of the other guys would sprint for the first aid station and while the roommate distracted him the rest of us would tackle Steve and hold him.

So that’s what we did. There were six of us holding Steve down. Another fellow and I were lying on top and holding his legs (probably 400 pounds between us) and he nearly kicked us off. He kept screaming about the Devil. Finally EMS showed up with a straightboard. The slid it under him (this took some time as we were not about to let him go) and tied him down. The police showed up soon afterwards and took down statements.

When he finally came out of it, he didn’t remember anything. It took several weeks before all the slashes he got from the barbed wire healed up.

I've heard that drinking a whole bottle of Robotussin can make you trip like acid. I've only tried a 1/2, and its a whole lot of fun. I didn't get fixated on killing my roomate tho... at least not yet.

i can't understand stories like that having done the drug recreationally. it's just not that strong. also acid costs about $180 for a 100 tab sheet and sells for $5 a tab. that's $900. with a profit margine like that and people who are willing to buy it why would he just put it in your friends drink at a loss to himself? he's not watching you so he gets no sick pleasure of watching you guys squirm. not to mention it would take a good deal of LSD to make someone wild out like that so it raises his losses even more. it also takes a bit of time for acid to start kicking in and it's very progressive; you're not sober then tripping. it's like alcohol, over time you get more and more wrecked, then you peak and then over time you get less and less wrecked; til you're done. if he hadn't done acid before i'm sure about 15 minutes into starting to trip he would have felt very very awkward. it starts with a butterflyish antsy feeling in your stomach, it's very ditinguishable even if you were all drinking.
maybe it was pcp. that shit will definitely make you freak out. i just don't know how you could get pcp in you without knowing.

The funnest thing I've ever done is Boomers (Shrooms). I was totally gone for about 8 hours, I ate about 6-8 caps. It really gets fun when you start seeing tracers. I recommend that everyone try them, plus they're all natural. I used to smoke Kind Bud all the time, but I had to stop to play Hockey. Weed is the greatest gift God gave us, everyone should get high. I just get drunk alot now. Me and my best friend Jack. We've had lots of great times together, me and Mr. Daniels. I don't especially want to do anything harder, I'm sticking with all natural drugs.

One time me and my friend were triping at a burger king and accross the street is a full service gas station, i asked him why he is looking so avidly at the gas station and his reply was "Man, those gnomes must be strong." i said "what did you say?" he says "there on each others shoulders pumping gas and cleaning windows." i said " they got to make a living somehow, duh." another time i was at a field party and this freshman was candyfliping, i think its taking E and acid at the same time, anyways he strips nakid and runs through the woods and comes back and tells us a pink tree told him to come back to the fire and sit down. And he sat nakid next to the fire all night

I've never done anything except weed and drinking. I think I'd be afraid to try acid or shrooms. However, I have played laser tag while completely trashed. Its sweet outside, and at night.

I used to be good friends with some hippies and we used to go to String Cheese concerts at Red Rocks. You would not believe the atmosphere there. Ever minute you are asked if you want to buy any type of drug. People walk around holding giant buds of weed. you could probably find any type of drug you want. We stayed at camp Hosa, where everyone would go back and camp out for the show the next day. thousands of people all in the same campsite smoking and dooing so much weird stuff together. One girl was taking a hit of Nitrus infront of our campsite and she passed out and fell onto a candle. luckully we were around to get her off of it right away. Man, the people you meet there are some of the most interesting people. One guy came stumbaling up to our campsite and his face was all bloody, like he had fallen down and not known that he was bleeding all over. I have to tell ya, when those people are tripin on whatever they were taking, lsd, e, you name it, they were some of the stupidest but most interesting people. I mean my friend I was with, had taken lsd and we were trying to sneak back in to the campsite. I kept telling him that the place he wanted to sneak under the fence was being watched buy the guard standing right next to it. He kept insisting that I was wrong and that he could make it. But he ran over there right next to the guard and atempted to climb under the fence(he didnt make it). The guards there and the police were so nice though and never arested anyone and were verry "look the other wayish"

I have tried some shrooms several times and the begining of triping is the best part. I would see the walls mooving and stuff driping. One thing that I hate about shrooms and the reason I will never take them again is that they make you think about the wierdest things. I kept freaking out because I could not tell if I was biting my tounge or if it was just in my mind. Everything I thought about kept freaking me out. At one point I felt like my whole body was wet and that I couldnt get dry, for some reason this scared me. I hated feeling out of control. No matter what you do you can not stop the trip once you have started and that, I think is what freaks you out. unlike beer or weed you can stop taking it and you will come down in a hour or so, or fall asleep. But on shrooms if you want to stop tripin you cant.

One thing I noticed while I was on shrooms was that my pets (Dog, Snake) would twitch very fast. My roomate and I would see our dog and it would be twitching as if it were having a ceasure and it would freak us out. My snake would also do this ceasure twitching when we were triping. I dont know if they were actually twitching or if it was just us tripin but we both saw it.

I think that coming off of shroms is one of the worst experiences because you are slowly coming back into reality and it is a very wierd and awkward felling. If you have strong shrooms you will trip for atleast 6 hours. not including coming off of the trip. Unless you know you can handle it I would sugest not taking shrooms.

The first time I ever took shrooms I remember siting on my hippie friends couch and we were watching tv. All of a sudden the table infront of me looked as if it were geting really far away from me. Then I looked up and saw the front door swinging open and shut really fast. At that point we all went outside and went to look at something ( cant remeber what) but I remember saying "I need to get some fresh air" while I was outside and then I passed out. Totally freaking out my friend, but I was fine. I layed out in the grass looking up at the sky for I dont know how long saying over and over again " I'm ok, I'm ok, I'm ok"........ It was about a year after that that I tried shrooms again.

Cool dude, I just kinda felt like you were asking everyone for their experiences without divulging your own, ya know? I myself don't have any to share as I have not partaken in any illegal drug activity. But, I start college next fall, so who's to say what the future holds...
