Angry I'm too tall for this honda!!! (Seat modifications.)

I'm 6'5" and i own a 1988 civic lx 4dr.
I love this car to death, and i know i can trust it for many many years to come. However, i can't stand being in it for more than an hour without having to stop, get out and stretch my legs. This is no way to live. Especially when you are traveling alot. Does anyone know how to make the seat go back more, without messing anything up???
NOTE: I can't take off the seat and bolt back in a farther position because there are special bumps on the floor that are for holding the seat.

well u can swap some integra seats in there, mine seem to go back really far and they have a longer track. or u can just cut ur seat and weld new brackets in and extend the mounting points so it works

If you want to find melt, he's over on clubcivic.com, just start a thread with Melt in the title, and as many here can confirm, he'll whore it up. LOL, even if you dont put his name in the subject or title, he'll be there soon. It's only a matter of time, he's a good guy, lots of information, but he can tend to whore up any thread of there.

anyway, id say to somehow create custom mounts further back, disregarding that floor bump.
