the difference in 97-98 honda prelude and the 99-01 5hp difference
i was wonder why the 97-98 honda prelude has 5hp less than the 99-01 honda prelude,is this just a marketing scheme or is there a difference thanks

Often times, car manufacturers find that they can tune the current engine to produce more power.
It's happened with plenty of other cars, the last generation Camaro being one that comes to mind.

That's true. Honda was able to tweak the engine and find a few more horsies for its consumers to enjoy.

It's because the 99+ Preludes have slightly better headers
|

dyno the two and find that the 5 hp diff is non-existent
