Stolen seats

I wonder if this has happened to any one of you. Last friday I was getting ready to go to work and as I was approaching my car I looked into the driver's side window only to see my interior was completley gutted. The front and rear seats as well as the stick shift knob were gone. The passenger window was smashed. Apparantley it happened after 12:30 am in a residential area of NYC. The alarm malfunctioned because I would have heard it as well as my neighbors. I love this car but now am thinking of selling it. I am sure some little asshole is installing the seats in his new honda civic or older integra that he is customizing. I am sure this is a common occurence with this vehicle. I have an rsx type s. I am waiting to hear from the insurance company. Please post if you have heard this happening before. Thanks.

well at least you got a weight reduction now ... j/k , maybe you need to reconsider the area you live in .... no need in selling all of your nice things just to keep thefts away
