Angry Hot Engine Message Withpower Loss

Ikeepgettting An Hot Engine Reading On The Message Senter Amd A Huge Power Loss Whenit Does This. It Is Speratic Whenit Does It I Know The Car Isnt Running Hot Thetemp Never Goes Above 200 And I Will Get The Message Sometimes Right After I Start The Car It Only Happens Wheni Am Driving Andthenstoppes After A Few Seconds It Might Happen 4-5 Times On Mydrive Home Ad Then Again Notat All Fora Few Days Also When It Does This The Traction Control Off Light Comes On I Dont Know If Its Related Any Help In This Matter Will Be Greatly Apprecciated.

The engineers for the northstar were smart...if for some reason you lose the cooling ability for whatever reason, the aurora can shut down to 4 culinders for a short period to get you on to the service station/dealer. This is supposed to be for about 20 miles I think. It sounds to me like you have a thermo problem somewhere and is giving you a false reading and shutting down to 4 cylinders, thus the loss fo power. i would have the sensors checked for accuracy.
