Re: Problems shifting...y?????

hi , i had the same problem in my car , i put in a new master cylinder and adjusted and it took care of the problem , before i adjusted it i didnt have much freeplay at all , so even when i put the clutch to the floor it wasnt fully disengaged which made it hard to get in gear it was like i had to really shove it into gear cause it would kinda be stuck on metal , after i adjusted it and gave it more free play it slides right in , if you have any more questions my AIM is tony101603 , i can tell you more about what i did

Re: Problems shifting...y?????

If the engagement point is low, then I would suspect clutch hydraulics (check them all anyway). If the engagement point is fine, it could be shyte fluid. But it would have to be pretty bad. I would physically check the slave (under the front motor mount) by pulling the boot back and looking for fluid leaking out. Check the master by looking at where the clutch pedal push rod goes into it, if its leaking you'll see fluid there and down the firewall. Bleed it as well. Change fluid just to have good fluid in there. 99% of poeple use BG synchroshift.
