99 S-10 Fuel Pump Problem.....need Help!!!
I've been really frustrated with this. If i let my truck sit for a while it starts right up. If i go like 5 miles down the road it stalls. When i try to restart it, it turns over but no fuel. I cant hear the fuel pump but i have replaced it twice already. I check the crank sensor. Shuts the engine off but fuel pump still runs. Checked the wires, but cant check when engine stalls because by the time i pull the tank out it starts back up. I'm thinking its the oil pressure sensor but it reads fine on the dash ( 60 while driving). What should i do??????

have you replaced the fuel filter? How long does the pump run with the crank sensor off, engine off? Two seconds or so would be normal. Oil pressure switch is just a backup for fuel pump relay, I haven't seen one that could shut fuel pump off unless the pump relay isn't working. You should check your fuel lines for kinks too. A fuel pressure test could help narrow it down if you have a problem regulator, bad regulators, plugged fuel filters and kinked lines will raise hell with a fuel pump
