hmmm? flip moon roof?

hey guys...i posted a couple of months ago about my flip moon roof on my 1994 rs..this is what i said:
Hey everyone. I got a problem with my flip moon roof. I was drivn today, and the damn thing was makn noise. So i tried to open it and close it to see if it was closed all the way, but when i went to open it, the 2 brackets closer to the windshield broke rite off. Theres like a bolt inside teh braket, that screws up through the roof. I got a 94 RS by the way. Is there anyway i can fix this?. Its like 20 degrees here in new york, and now im gonna grow icecles on my *****

Anyway...I went to a chevy dealer, and asked them if they had these parts. When i asked the guy, he said there was only one kind of moon roof that they put on the 94's and that was an option if you wanted it or not. Anyway i showed him pics of mine and its not the one that original came as an option to the 94's. He said when the 94's were being built, chevy had a company that came in and installed the moon roof i got, but teh guy didnt know the name of the company. How would i go about fixing the problem i described above??? i gotta get it fixed

Re: hmmm? flip moon roof?

If you know the original selling dealer they could help.If not look on the roof itself for manuf.data.

Try moving the steering wheel in the opposite direction to take the pressure off of the interlock.

Re: hmmm? flip moon roof?

The trans could also not be totally in park. If your car is an automatic that is. Check to make sure that your car is all the way in park before your "force" anything.
