You can't remove all the mirror/chrome in your headlights cause then you'll have no headlights.

no dude i was talking about removing them temporary just to pain the housing and then put the chrome bak in. I was wondering how many parts are in an actual headlight, to see if it can be done.

SORRRY

OOOOOOOOOOPS SORRY i never got to your question.
i must have just missed this topic by accident
you should email me as well if you have any questions.
[email protected]

Anyways to answer your question.
NO you canNOT remove the mirror part of the light.
It's actually attach to it and in reality painted on there.
It's like a thin plastic coating and can be rubbed off if not careful.

I hope that helps.
Once again, sorry for taking so long to respond to this.

let me know if you have anymore questions.

that's simple

just do what i did and take out the headlight lense.
now the inside the of the lense is exposed.
use some tape to cover some areas that you want to keep clean and then spray paint it black.
I have actually never done this before...I was thinking about it myself, but enver got the chance to actually think or try it.

The problem that I face is....the light pattern itself. I don't want to ruin in and have my headlights give out less light than there is already.
I think 4th gen headlights are kinda dim, but that could be because I'm driving next to a BMW with HIDS HAHAHAHAHAHA

The second problem that you will face is that your headlights are HOT!!!!
and I'm not sure if the paint will hold up to the heat.
If it doesn't you will have a BIG mess inside your headlight and my guess is that you probably don't want to deal with it.

feel free to hit me up with more questions and suggestions.
I would like to discuss this further and hopefully find a solution because I too would like to have JDM style black headlights. HEHEHE
