4x4 high won't engage but 4x4 low will.
HI, I have a 2000 Chevy 3500 Pickup. Lately it has not been engaging in 4x4 high. In the past few weeks it would be tempermental (sp?) but now it wont work at all. 4x4 Low works fine. What could be the problem or how can I diagnose this? BTW it doesnt have the push button 4x4 but rather the stick thats mounted on the floor.
PS it received a new transfer case mopre than a year ago. thanks

This happened with my old truck once after putting a body lift on it. The shift linkage was out of adjustment. Maybe that's your problem, since the linkage was off for the new t-case. It was easy to fix. Just had to adjust it to where both hi and low would go in all the way. Good Luck
