Replacing rear speakers

Hello folks. Can anyone help me on removing the rear factor speakers,grills, etc. in my "02" corolla. I'm sure there is a easy way, but I'll be Dammed if I can get them out. Thanks.

Same problem how do I replace the rear speakers on a 1996 Toyota Corolla?

Can not see the speaker covers are removed?

i have a 90 corolla and experianced the same problem and what you could try doing is take out the rear seat and pop up the rear deck the speaker grilles will come out with it. even though it is old it is probably the same princible.

For the 96 Corolla, you have to first take out the bottom seat just by pulling up on it, there should be two or three metal tabs. Then get the bolts out of the top part of the seat. (not sure what size) then that comes off, and the cover should just come off by pulling it towards you.
