Audio Question

im not much of an audio guy. but the time has come now for me to get subs. i already have a pioneer head unit. the subs on the top of my head are Rockford Fosgate and Lightning Audio. which is b/c my one friend has a rockford sub and my other has a lightning audio sub. my friend wit the rockford has a 94 bmw 525i and the thing rattles way too much. and my other friend wit the lighting audio sub has a 00 cavalier and this sub is almost perfect barely an rattle or nething. tell me wat u think bout either of these products.

I would say forget them both and go with Adire

if i were you i would get the rockford he's out of those 2, but i would rather have some kickers or brahmas.

You should go to a good stereo store and listen to different subs.They all have a different sound and you should pick the one that you like and fits your budget..dont just get one cause someone else has it..Different subs will require differnet power levels and box volumes..A good shop will help you find the right sub.....Rockfords dont usually rattle...sounds like your friend has something going on with his system.

Id recommend MTX subs...They hit hard, sound good, and are usually not too expensive, they are well worth the money.

how a anout Pioneer.

Pioneers are pretty good subs, dont go by name, go by what speaker makes the sound that you like. Some subs are going to have a boomy sound, while some are going to be tighter. Some like kicker are not very musical speakers, but hit very hard..listen around, most people are more than happy to show off what they have, just ask next time you see a car that sounds good to you.
