parting out 94 s10 ss
I am interested in parting out my 94 2wd s10 ss pickup. I bought it from my brother-in-law, who bought it new. I am going to build a drag truck for my wife, I drag race a 67 nova. It has about 134000 miles. i am a gm technician, and the truck is well cared for and in great shape. recent repairs include new batt and both cables, motor mounts, oil cooler lines, pinion seal, trans, oil and coolant flushes, and complete tune. I want to sell the engine/trans, I can include harness, radiator, etc. I dont need the ebcm for the abs. I will also gut the interior, its light gray, no pwr locks or windows. The interior is in good shape, the dash has about a 1inch crack in frt of the cluster, the seats are not torn, but have a couple spots, door panel and headliner are good. I want to get rid of the fuel tank, pump is a couple years old, a bit noisey but completly operational. I will be putting a glass hood on for clearance,so the hood can go. its straight except for some bug shield wear. I really dont have set prices in mind, this is the first Ive listed. kinda new to the forum stuff so thoughts or suggestions would be apprieciated. Im located near Denver, I am presently driving the truck daily to spare miles on my other truck.

Sorry So Long To Reply, Just Got Home From Vacation About An Hour Ago. Yes, It Has The 4.3 Cpi Motor And A 4l60e Auto Trans. The Motor Has 134,000on The Odo. My Brother In Law Is The Original Owner, Very Well Maint. She Has Over 60psi Oil Press On The Hwy,about 20-30 At Idle. Im A Gm Tech, And Have Done All The Normal Services. It Had A New Cpi Injector A Couple Years Ago. Id Like To Sell The Eng/trans Together, But Thats Not In Stone, Id Be Willing To Let The Complete Harness Go Also If It Were Going To A Conversion Job. I Was Thinking $1200 For Motor/trans And Harness. So I Guess Maybe 700 Or 800 For The Motor, Im Not Real Hip On Used Motor Prices So Tell Me If Ya Think Im Crazy.

Re: parting out 94 s10 ss
I'm interested in the door panels. Let me know a price. And if you have a center console, that would be great too.

I Think $300 On The Trans And Convertor, I Had The Pan Off 6000 Mile Ago To Service It, Looked Fine, Nothing In The Filter Or Pan. I Replace The Filter And Pan And Then Did A Full Bg Trans Flush, Which Changes All The Fluid, Including The Convertor. The Trans Works Great, It Has About A Second Delay To Engage When Put In Reverse, One Of The Other Techs At My Dealership Has The Same Truck, His Has 88.000 Miles, And His Is The Same Way.
On The Door Panels, Probably $50 For The Pair, But They Are For Manual Windows And Locks. I Dont Have A Console, Mine Is A Bench Seat. The Interior Is Light Gray. I Will Be Gutting The Interior In A Couple Weeks, My Chassis Guy Is Starting The Cage. Thanks |
