Oil And Battery Light On and Car Wont Run.
I have a 1992 HOnda accord EX. Last night i went to pick up some friends and i was at a stop sign. When i pressed on the gas the car wouldnt go, it was like if it was in neutral. The engine still sounds like its running fine, but the car is not moving at all. The oil and battery light also came on when this happened and havent gone away. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Dunno bout the oil light and all that, but have you been hearing any whining noises or grinding noises lately? Could be your tranny thats going. Or well, gone now maybe. If its an automatic, check tranny fluid, could be something as simple as low on fluid.

Re: Car not runnin.
Thats the weird thing, there hasnt been any problems with the transmission up until this happened. It is an automatic, where to i check the tranny fluid?

Dip stick
Look for a yellow dipstick...lower left is standing looking at engine. Check with engine OFF and on level ground. Fluid must be within hash marks. Do not over fill. Uses dextron III or better yet Honda Transmission Fluid.
