What about this rare '70 GSX ???

Ok I was watching PHR TV (Popular Hot Rodding) today (it might have been an old episode) and right at the end of the show they were talkin about this rare GSX.

It was a factor option or something the factor had made by an outside company.

There was only like 750 or 760 made.
It came with tha 455 bored 7000 over w/ twin superchargers, all this mad tha car between 800 and 900 hp.

And it could run a high to mid 8 in tha 1/4 mi. on pump gas w/ stock size slicks.

And not only was it a mean drag car but it could also be a daily driver because it only had a 8:1 comp. ratio.

This is basicaly all I was able to hear because I started watchin so late.

Anyway if anyone else has any info on this car or a link where I can find more info pls post.

And Im sorry if any of the info I posted is wrong and pls correct me if I'm wrong.

The only twin S/C GSX I've ever seen was a totally custom job. I never saw it make a clean pass.

It was pretty weird, they were offset like the engines in Tommy Ivo's twin engine dragster. It made a weird whine going down the track. As far as the "Special GN's", there was at least one that had a Buddy Ingersol V-6 Twin Turbo put in it. It was at the 'Nats about a year or two before I went. I know the guy who put it in the car. He's a friend of Buddy. I actually got to meet Buddy at this guy's shop. We can start a separate thread about his car, but Buddy was in the 6's WAY before current Pro Stock cars were.

PS, I'll see if I can find a pix of the Twin SC GSX. It was in Hot Rod.
