My Chevy Died

I posted earlier about my truck having poor gas mileage. Well today it did it again. I wne tin for breakfast and come back out about 20 minutes later to go home and the truck wouldnt start. It would crank over then fire up for 1 to 2 seconds, just enough time for the starter to stay engaged, then would continue to crank. I would shut the key off and it would continue this process until afte about 10 minutes it fired up and I came home. It runs a little rough though. When i sit in park you can tell the engine is rumblin and jerkin but not enough to really make me worry. PLus my gas mileage is hell. CAn anyone help me, or has anyone had this problem?????
