Delivery Mileage
Can anyone tell me what the standard delivery mileage for the Gallardo is? If there isn't a standard, please tell me what would be considered excessive? (50 miles? 100 miles?...)
This message is particular helpful if current Gallardo owners can give me some info. What was the mileage showing on your Gallardo when you took delivery? Thanks in advance |

Re: Delivery Mileage
Be careful here. Dealers have been known to "demo" new, sold cars and then tell the buy that the cars come in with "about" that mileage. you should not see more than about 20 miles!

Re: Delivery Mileage
Surely the car shouldn't have more than 10 miles. How many miles does it have to do driving on and off transporters?

Re: Delivery Mileage
Each Lambo is test driven in Italy on the road but for only a few miles.

Re: Delivery Mileage
Every Gallardo does 1,000 miles on a dyno machine which will not register on the speedometer. The cars are test driven but still there shouldn't be more than 10-15 miles on the clock. I will check with the dealer as mine is in customs. It arrived 2 days ago but I won't see it until next week. Asking the dealer might be a good idea this way they might think twice about taking it home. My 911 was crashed at the Brisbane Ferrari dealer when they had it in their show room (supposedly) to sell on consignment. They said they crashed it moving it around the workshop but there was a bit more damage to the car than a little bump. Question, if you were a dealer and you had the opportunity to take a car for a drive and possible home for the night would you? I'll let you know the clock reading when I pick mine up.
