Hello, I also have a white VW Jetta, I am also trying to decide weather to go with a black tint or a mirror type tint. Which did you go with and how does it look? If you have any pics you can send that would be very helpfull. I like the non-reflective type mirrored tint. Actually I thinks it's a 20% Chrome. Looks nice in the shop, but still not sure how it will look on the car. PLEASE HELP. Thanks, -ED

Re: Window tint?

Well, I went with a 20% Black. I found a place that uses a tint which is made with titanium in it. It is not a dyed tint. I have heard many times from many tint guys that dyed tints are bad. The tint I went with looks awesome on the car, and I am very happy that I chose black over the mirrored type.

Re: Window tint?

If your trying to stay legal most states have a ban on the mirrored filmes.
They range from 5% the darkest 20% 35% 50%and70% the lightest, good on windsheilds, alot of states say no darker than 35% on the driver & passenger
side glass. stay away from dyed film its junk.It also makes a noteable differance if you have factory tint or not. I like the charcoal or smoke. looks
good on about any color car.
