I have a 98 T & C, the drivers power window will not work. All other windows work fine. I'm assuming it's the switch in the door, but want some confirmation before I take it apart. Also, I would like some pointers on taking things apart, what are the "gotcha's" that I need to look out for.
Thank You for any and all help. rdsopp |

Re: 98 T & C Drivers Power Window Wont Work
More than likely you have a faulty power window motor. You might be able to get it to work temporarily by removing the door panel and giving it a wack with a hammer.
Only real gotchas with the door panel is be sure all the barbed clips are dislodged. Best to pop each one out seperately with a trim tool. They line the edge of the panel all the way around. You may need to replace some of them when reinstalling. |

Re: 98 T & C Drivers Power Window Wont Work
Thank you for the feedback, and your right about it being the motor. I tried replacing the switch, which was actually quite easy, however I still had the problem.
