Question 98 T & C Drivers Power Window Wont Work

I have a 98 T & C, the drivers power window will not work. All other windows work fine. I'm assuming it's the switch in the door, but want some confirmation before I take it apart. Also, I would like some pointers on taking things apart, what are the "gotcha's" that I need to look out for.

Thank You for any and all help.

Re: 98 T & C Drivers Power Window Wont Work

More than likely you have a faulty power window motor. You might be able to get it to work temporarily by removing the door panel and giving it a wack with a hammer.
Only real gotchas with the door panel is be sure all the barbed clips are dislodged. Best to pop each one out seperately with a trim tool. They line the edge of the panel all the way around. You may need to replace some of them when reinstalling.

Thank you for the feedback, and your right about it being the motor. I tried replacing the switch, which was actually quite easy, however I still had the problem.
