Re: Tail Light Measurements

They are totally different and different in shape. It sounds like you want to fit them to another car.

So anyone serious about Skylines wouldn't give that out, i know I wont as honestly I am sick of seeing skyline parts fitted to honda civics as example.

Re: Tail Light Measurements

how can a pair of circles fit into a rectangle?

if you are desperate to make the back of your 240sx look like a skyline, the art and craft skills you learnt in kindergarden come in handy here. 2 paper plates, a can of spraypaint and your imagination..

really, why should any specifications list include the size of their tailights?

Re: Tail Light Measurements

I only used Hondas as an example. Either the assembly is totally different to that of what you currently own. They are also very deep which will mean a fair bit of cutting, welding, and bogging to fit them.

Re: Tail Light Measurements

The 240sx is an s14 right? Like this?

Well - I'm no rocket scientist but the back of that car simply wont fit R33 lamps - have you even seen one? They are much much taller. Even late-model 180sx type-x lamps won't fit:

So - yeah, major body mod.
Plus - it will look sh*thouse. No other word for it. Putting parts of one car onto another looks stupid. The s14 shape has heaps of cool kits available. You can even go for an s15 or 180 front to be different. Say 'NO' to stovetops on anything other than a skyline.

If you really want the stove-top look... perhaps go for some of these: http://www.xracing.com.au/htm/xeyelids.htm
