NO no no I mean a 3rd generation with a pontiac powerplant (389 350 400 421 455 ) Not the Firebirds with the Chevys 305, 350 they were forced to come with...

gm didnt allow any pontiac motors in the actual pontiac cars stock

it was just easyer to make them with the chevs in em

Yes I know that - Pontiac has not hade a v-8 sine the 301 in 1981 (if you want to call it a V8- )

I wanted to know if any1 has PUT a Pontiac V8 -n a 82-up firebird, I was wondering about mounts and stuff- I know hooker makes(made?) a header that would work on 82 n up F-bodys...

ok. let me explain something to ya. in the fourms here, we try to be a little more specific in the questions we ask. what you asked is like asking,

why is the sky?

now if you would have said, Has anyone put a old pontiac v-8 other than the poor excuse for a motor 301 into a third gen. we would have known what you were talking about. dont take this personally, just a heads up for next time.
