Hello,
I replaced the factory radio with a store bought. A harness was used for it, but for some reason I just couldn't get power so I wired a standalone wire to the fuse box and ever sense then the light ring around the key hole doesn't work anymore. I also would like to mention before the new radio was installed when I would open the driver side door and close it I would hear an electronic click in the door which I'm assuming was some type of a lock reset on the door. So after the install I don't hear that reset anymore and when I go to open the door it would start to open then jam. I been trying to find a wire diagram, but I have had no success in finding one. The GM dealer by my house said if it was a 94 I could get you one lol what an ass! Any help would be gratefully appreciated! Specs: 1994-V6 3.1- 2 Door Chevy Lumina Euro Sedan |

Re: Problem With Driver side door after radio install

As for your problem, I would suggest checking fuses first. It sounds like there might be a problem if you find a blown fuse, replace it and if it blows again there might be a short in your wiring harness. Also you could have caused damage to wires while installing the stereo, I would check to see if there is a wire harness behind the stereo that has possibly been damaged. just my
